Meet Our Governors
Trewidland School Governors form the local Governing Committee (LGC) which reports to the SMART Board. They have strong local connections to the school so this means the local community have a say about how key decisions get made. Each Governor has some responsibility for an area of the LGS's work and attends 'link meetings' with Governors from all the other SMART Schools.
Lives and works near the School and runs the Looe Valley Vineyard.
He is also a St Keyne Parish Councillor.
Chairs of the LGC and also is the Link Governor for Finance and Safeguarding.
Is a parent of three former Trewidland pupils.
Started (with other parents) the School Playgroup when his youngest child was a toddler.
Charles is a co-opted Governor and has been a Governor since 2005 and his current term of office ends in 2020.
Lives in Harrowbarrow near Callington but was a former resident of St Keyne and previoulsy her children attended Trewidland Pre-School and Primary.
Vice-Chair of the LGC and is also the Link Governor for Health and Safety & Premises as well as joining Helen Moran as Link Governor for Learning.
Is a Chartered Building Engineer and experienced building control officer with a wealth of knowledge of H&S practices and building safety. Rebecca helped to secure planning permission for the new car park and also supports the school volunteering as a toddler group helper.
Rebecca has been a parent governor since April 2018 and her current term of office ends in April 2022.
